The ContentForces Agenda gives a structured overview of events, free days and other specified information and can be easily accessible from a homepage or any point of your webpage. Using the agenda overview, the visitor of your website or Intranet can get a quick look at details related to past or upcoming dates. By choosing a particular day, week or event the website visitor can get a full overview of each of them respectively and find information about an event he or she is interested in.

Website visitor perspective

Your website visitor wants to obtain information on what is happening in your company.
The website visitor clicks on a specific week number (i.e. different than the current one) and a week overview is displayed dynamically on the main part of the page and shows days with a set number of events assigned to them.
By clicking on a specific day (either from the agenda navigation or from the week overview chosen before), the visitor is redirected to the day's overview with a listing of all the events that are happening on that particular day.
When the website visitor selects a particular event, he is redirected to an event detail page, displaying all specific information such as start date, end date and any other defined data.

Website manager perspective

The agenda overview can be accessed from every page on the website or an Intranet but we advise to show it only on selected pages in order not to dominate other content of your website.
The agenda overview is placed permanently at a certain point of the page, showing a month overview on the top of the component and a current week overview on the bottom (with a specified number of events under each day). All of the links open in the same window, showing a selected overview in the centre of the page. The colours are used consistently on all agenda's pages – i.e. if week numbers are in green, then a week overview will also have a week's number caption in green.
A maximum of 2 events per day (or other defined number) can be displayed in order to maintain the clarity of information on the agenda preview.
Only the website manager can manage the events and other features of the agenda with the CCMS.
The website manager can group events of the same type and customize their apperance in the overviews.
An event lasting more than one day is listed under all days of the event's duration period.
