General introduction

The News Archive component allows website visitors to browse through a record of all important events, developments or changes that took place within the company to which the website belongs to or on the website itself. The News Archive component facilitates the access to information made available on the website. It helps website visitors in going through news items no longer made available via the news component. After defining the archive period, all expired news items will be automatically moved from the news page to the News Archive page. The News Archive component generates an overview page with a list of older news that are available in the archive. The expired news items can be listed chronologically.
