General introduction

The ContentForces Tell a Friend allows your website visitors or customers to easily inform other people about a particular page they would like to share from your website. The Tell a Friend consists of the form where your website visitor enters an e-mail address of the person he wants to notify about particular information. He is also able to leave a comment in the form. The recommended page will be sent to the friend's e-mail in the form of a link along with the text.

Website visitor perspective

In order to inform a friend about a particular page, the website visitor needs to fill in the Tell a Friend form which is placed on the page that he is viewing.
In the Tell a Friend form, the website visitor needs to fill in the email address of a friend and other required/non required fields (e.g.: website visitor's name, website visitor's e-mail, friend's name). He also has the possibility to write a comment.
Afterwards, the website visitor clicks on the 'Send' button and the system displays a 'Thank You' page.The system sends the message to a friend with: predefined text, comment left by website visitor and a link to the web page. The notification is sent to the website owner.
