General introduction

The E-mailing Animated GIF Banner is one of many banner types that can be designed and implemented in your company's e-mails by ContentForces. It allows you to include animation which makes it more realistic as compared to static banners. ContentForces recommends to only make small animated GIF banners because the size of the file should not have too much impact on the performance of the whole website (loading time). These can be made on the basis of various image formats (most common are *.gif, *.bmp, *.jpg, *.png). This kind of banner may consist of two to eight frames (individual images) which are displayed one after the other giving a semblance of animation.
