General introduction

ContentForces Item Information Management system allows you to create and maintain accurate, timely and complete data about items. It allows for an easy management over multiple item groups, large numbers of items, their variants and many different specifications. During the integration phase, the client can define the properties that will describe a given item or item variant.

Key benefits

  • Allows for the description of complex items.
  • Effective solution to handle multilingual item databases for multiple regions with easy management.
  • Browser-based administration of items accessible from a non-centralised location.
  • Structure and manage your items centrally to save substantial management time, lower total cost and improve the quality.

Website manager perspective

  • The website manager can manage and modify the information about the items collected in Item Groups. Items are arranged in hierarchical structures (items and item variants).
  • For management of item descriptions, there is an intuitive User Interface, where the manager can add, edit, delete media descriptions and assign media files.
  • Adding/editing/deleting a new item: in the Content and Campaign Management System, the manager selects the Item Group where the new item is to be added. He clicks on the 'New Item' button and fills in the provided fields with specifications for a particular item. He adds 'item name' and fills in all values that have been chosen to describe the items in that given Item Group (Item Group setup – allows to customize properties so that they are exactly as you want them to be). While entering the specifications, the manager only sees item properties as editable fields - variant's properties can also be displayed but inactivated. The same User Interface allows to edit and delete items.
  • Adding/editing/deleting a new item variant description: the manager is able to add item variants to the selected item. To do this, he needs to find the Iiem he wants to add a variant to and click on 'New item variant' button. Item properties are inactive but visible in the interface. In a similar way, he can delete or modify the item variant item.
