General introduction

The ContentForces Media Overview allows the website visitor to find the right media in an easy way. This component is helpful in efficient scanning of the media and saves the website visitor possible disappointment and time. It serves as a guide for customers and makes it easier for them to locate the target media. Images, videos, audios and documents can be easily selected from the overview of all that facilitate access to the specific media.

This kind of presentation of media allows a website visitor to gain a quick overview of images, videos, audios and documents.

Website visitor perspective

The website visitor enters the Media Group Overview (as a Media Group Overview component) and chooses a media group.
He enters the Media Overview page.
Next, he clicks on a particular media and the detail page of it appears (as a Media Detail component).

Website manager perspective

CCMS user can change the publication status of the Media Overview by putting it online or offline.
In order to do this CCMS user needs to change publication status of generated taxonomy (one media).
He clicks on the 'edit' button on the detail page of taxonomy of some kind of media.
He gets UI to change the status (online/offline), changes status and clicks save.
Status of taxonomy is changed (offline).
Media is (not) visible on preview of Media Overview component and after publishment.
CCMS user can reorder media listed on the Media Overview component.
He needs to tab 'Publication > Website' and clicks on Media Overview taxonomy.
He clicks on the 'Reorder' button and gets UI to reorder media taxonomies (reorder of taxonomies in CCMS).
He reorders them and clicks save.
Taxonomies are reordered.
Media are reorder on the preview of the Media Overview component and after publishment.
