In order to make it easier for your website visitors to correctly fill in a date on your website, ContentForces delivers the Date Picker which helps in selecting an appropriate date from a calendar. The calender appears in a pop up and the website visitor selects the appropriate year, month and day. The Date Picker lets users easily select a valid date from a calendar. There is no need to worry about the date format, because with the ContentForces Date Picker, choosing dates is always correct.

Website visitor perspective

There is a small calendar icon near a date text field. The website visitor clicks on it, and the calendar appears in a pop up.
The website visitor can change years and months in the navigation of the calendar. He can select a day in the overview.
In the navigation, the website visitor needs to click on a '<<' (prev.year) to find aprevious year/s or on a '>>' (next year) to find next year/s. It is also possible to hold a '<<' (prev. year) to see the nearest previous years appear in the drop-down or to hold a '>>' (next year) and the nearest next years appear. Then the website visitor can choose an appropriate year from the ones displayed.
Once a website visitor chooses a year, he can start choosing a month (or he can do it in a different order). The website visitor needs to click on a '<' (prev. month) to find a previous month/s or on a '>' (next month) to find next month/s. It is possible to hold a '<' (prev. month) or a '>' (next year) and all months appear in the drop-down. Then the website visitor can choose from them the appropriate month.
Afterwards, the website visitor is chooses a particular day from a calendar overview by clicking on it.
The chosen date is inserted into a text field.
