Contextual targeting is an extension of the Adwords Search Campaign. Google Content Network provides hundreds of thousands of pre-selected websites that cooperate with Google to display targeted AdWords ads (text ad, image ad, video ad). Contrary to the Adwords Search Campaign, the keyword list comprises of only a small number of keywords (up to 50). Individual keywords in a Content campaign do not matter, they add up to a theme that Google can match to relevant sites. Google scrutinizes both, the keywords and the ads (ContentForces Rext Ad, ContentForces Video Ad, ContentForces Image Ad) in order to match a relevant theme.
