General introduction

Animated GIF Banner is one of many banner types that can be designed and implemented by ContentForces. It allows for the inclusion of animation which makes it more realistic as compared to static banners. ContentForces recommends making only small Animated GIF banners because the size of the file should not have too much impact on the performance of the whole website (loading time). These can be done on the basis of various image formats (most common are *.gif, *.bmp, *.jpg, *.png). This kind of a banner may consist of two to eight frames (individual images) which are displayed one after the other giving a semblance of animation.
